GoGreen and Social Welfare Mission, is an NGO established in June 2019 by seven committed Engineers of SGSITS '93 batch, who have the passion to conserve natural resources and contribute to social welfare.

Prime objective of this NGO is to improve the environmental and social well-being of our community by doing the following :-

• Planting trees for a greener tomorrow
• Commercial and Domestic Water Conservation
• Promoting use to renewable energy sources, mainly solar
• Pollution control and spreading related awareness
• Helping the under privileged kids, old age people, patients and their families.

We solicit your help and cooperation in this noble initiative by providing us the needed land where we can plant assorted trees (as per your choice) and help in keeping the environment clean and green. All activities and related expenses for the same will be borne by our GoGreen team, except its future care.

Our Mission

Tree plantation is not just something that should be done; instead, it is a necessity, the urgent need of the hour. Planting of trees is especially important to protect our environment against air pollution and global warming. To this end, our young volunteers have been actively involved in organizing tree plantation campaigns.

Considering the manifold benefits of trees, including that they release oxygen into the air, absorb unpleasant odours as well as harmful gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide from the air and purify it, protect us from dangerous ultra-violet rays, provide us with food and the pivotal role played by trees in preventing soil erosion, maintaining ecological balance and most especially in lessening the effects of global warming, the GoGreen and Social Welfare Mission team conducts tree plantation drives twice a year. Over the last two years, GoGreen and Social Welfare Mission has planted more than 700 plants in indore and arounding areas.
